Doing Christmas in Las Vegas
December 17, 2012
Today, with just a week left, Christmas is closer than ever before. If you’re planning a trip to Sin City this Christmas, then you’re sure to have a wonderful time. Las Vegas is one of the best cities for enjoying the magic of the holidays. Sure, you won’t find any snow on the ground, and there’s no real need for a toasty fire and glass of strong eggnog. Nevertheless, Las Vegas has something to offer everyone, and if that’s what you’re looking for, there are more than a few venues that will be happy to indulge you!
Before you go on your Las Vegas Christmas trip, be sure you know about these tips for spending Christmas in Las Vegas:
- They say that New York is the “city that never sleeps.” While that may be true, it’s an epithet that can be equally applied to Las Vegas – especially during the Christmas season. You might be worried about “finding things to do in Las Vegas” during the Christmas season – don’t be! Nothing closes on Christmas day in Vegas. Seriously, from casinos to restaurants, everything will be open on Christmas day in Vegas.
- If you want to have a big Christmas dinner, just about every restaurant in the area will be willing to accommodate you. However, if you want to have a big nice Christmas dinner, then it’s recommended that you make your reservations now (if you haven’t already). Tables fill up quickly in this city.
- Be sure to check out the Bellagio Fountains on Christmas day. The lights and fountains are always spectacular. However, they’re especially good at this time of the year, synchronized with Christmas music!
- While you’re there, stroll through the Bellagio’s Conservator and Botanical Gardens (a winter wonderland around Christmas!).
