Free Las Vegas Activities

Chances are if you are planning a trip to Las Vegas you plan on spending some money. Many Las Vegas trips are spontaneous with little planning ahead of time. If you have been reading Las Vegas trip tips or blogs, chances are you prefer to have an itinerary or rough idea of what you want to do before your trip.

Las Vegas has numerous entertainment venues. Many people visit the city for the terrific nightclubs, the various live performances, and to try their luck in the casino. All of these will cost vacationers money. Not everything has to cost you, however; there are plenty of free attractions and activities you can enjoy in Las Vegas.

People have different ideas of what make up the best activities in Las Vegas, but out of the city’s free attractions, these are typically thought to be the “best” because they are free, convenient, and easy to find. So if you want to be entertained but save money too, try:

Show in the Sky at the Rio Las Vegas: Thursdays through Sundays, 7 pm to midnight. Mondays to Wednesdays 7 pm to midnight is Brazil’s Carnivale Masquerade Show in the Sky.

Bellagio Fountains Show: Choreographed fountains and music. All week long but schedule varies by day of the week.

The Sirens of TI: Pirates and Sirens at Treasure Island Hotel

Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens: A beautiful garden of plants, flowers, and trees.

Circus Acts at Circus Circus: High wire walkers and magic performances.

CityCenter Art Collection: Variety of art including sculptures and paintings.

First Friday Art Showcase Downtown Las Vegas: A community event where art is showcased for appreciation. Food, drink, shopping, and music.

There are a variety of activities you can find for cheap or free around Las Vegas. Sometimes, finding cheaper sources of entertainment requires research. There are many people ready to give their opinion or entertainment suggestions online. Many of these are easy to look up. If something sounds interesting, go ahead and explore. You never know what alternative forms of entertainment you may find in Las Vegas or just outside the city.
