Looking for Halloween Fun in Vegas? Try Oktober Fright Fest

October 15, 2012

This month marks the beginning of the fourth annual Fremont Street Experience Oktober Fright Fest. This is by far one of – if not the most – entertaining and spooky Halloween event happening in Vegas in October. Never thought of Las Vegas as a Halloween destination? Well, think again because you can definitely have a hauntingly entertaining time in Las Vegas in the month of October. That is, if you enjoy the fun that the Halloween month has to offer!

This probably isn’t the most family-friendly event Las Vegas offers, so make sure you know that in case your traveling with little ones. Otherwise, be sure to check out the OktoberFrightFest. The entire Fremont Street area in downtown Las Vegas is one of the most interesting and entertaining areas of the city anyway. The OkbtoberFrightFest adds much more to the experience.

This year, organizers decided to add a haunted house. Yep, that’s right, a Vegas haunted house! The house, named “Asylum” has visitors experiencing a horrifying tour through a mental asylum. During the journey through the building, patrons will travel from room to room of the asylum, often encountering terrifying scenes and downright scary actors attempting to freak you out. It’s sure to be a wicked time.

In addition to the Halloween events and scary actors, Oktober Frigh tFest made sure to include the popular Oktoberfest tradition during this month as well. There will be a beer festival for all to enjoy in mid to late October. Plus, the organizers made sure to include many music shows during the month. And if it’s what you’re into, you’ll be able to experience much darker, chilling music at the 3rd Street Stage for the entire month.

You could spend days checking out all that the Oktober Fright Fest has to offer. If you’re in Vegas this month, be sure to get downtown and see what it’s all about. You won’t regret it. Unless, of course, you get so scared that you pee your pants, no one likes when that happens!
