New Year’s in Las Vegas
December 24, 2012
New Year’s is, without a doubt, the single most popular holiday in Las Vegas. Tack on the fact that many people plan their visit to include both Christmas and New Year’s, and Sin City is throbbing with people. If you love the energy of thousands of people, all reveling in Vegas’s glory, then you’ll love visiting the city this time of year!
However, before you set foot on the plane, be sure you’ve done a run-through of our quick New Year’s how-to for Las Vegas!
- Prioritize your plans for New Year’s Eve. If you want to be at a particular restaurant, bar, or casino, then you need to make reservations (if necessary) now. Everybody in Vegas goes out on New Year’s Eve. Make sure you figure out how you’re going to secure a spot at your dream Vegas New Year’s Even locale.
- Once you have the big event locked down, it’s time to start reserving and booking other days and evenings of your Las Vegas trip. Remember… everyone else – just like you – is going to be in Las Vegas for a few days prior to New Year’s. Things will be crowded, which is fine if you have your reservations taken care of!
- Go against the crowds. Casinos are going to be popular this time of year no matter what. However, there are a few things you can do to get the most out of your casino experience. Go to the casino in the morning or early- to mid-afternoon (instead of at night). This way, you’ll have more room, and be able to play the tables you want to play.
- Have a blast! Easy enough – you’re in Las Vegas, right? There’s no better place to ring in the new year.
