Special Spring Events Around Las Vegas

There are special seasonal events that take place in different cities around the country. Las Vegas isn’t any different. There are a number of special events taking place spring of 2013. There are a number of sports events, musical performances, and art shows.

In the nearby city of Henderson, Nevada there are several events celebrating spring with a Spring Craft & Gift Boutique celebrating Easter in late March. In early May, enjoy the festive atmosphere of the Spring Jamboree in Boulder City’s Bicentennial Park. Many Las Vegas residents attend this events and in 2013, the Spring Jamboree is expected to draw in about 20,000 attendees.

Las Vegas is no stranger to music and musical shows are a staple of Las Vegas entertainment. Las Vegas will be hosting two special musical performances. Mid-March, Maroon 5 will be performing at the Mandalay Bay Events Center with special guests Owl City and Neon Trees. The other special musical event to take place this spring is Coast To Coast Spring Tour 2013. The group will perform at Boomers Bar the later part of March.

While musical performances may seem limited, there are plenty of sports events to occupy the time of anyone visiting Las Vegas. March and April are full of events including: La Madre Spring Hike, Run Away with Cirque du Soleil, Corn Creek Spring Walk, and Wildflower Training. April events include: Las Vegas 51s vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox and the Spring Break Bike Fest.

There is no shortage of entertainment to be found in Las Vegas but that doesn’t mean entertainment and attractions can’t be found elsewhere around the Las Vegas area. Spring is a great time to take advantage of special events. But people don’t need to limit their special event experiences to spring. There are special events all year round in the city or nearby.

Whether you’re visiting Las Vegas for a day or a week, there are plenty of attractions to keep you occupied. If you think you’ve seen about everything available along the Vegas Strip, then look outside the popular brick and mortar attractions and enjoy unique seasonal events.
