Tim McGraw and Faith Hill in Las Vegas

December 31, 2012

Elvis went from Tennessee to Vegas, and so did Dolly Parton. However, Tennessee is sending two more country music legends out to Las Vegas: the dynamic couple, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.

On December 7, 2012, McGraw and Hill opened their newest Vegas show, Soul2Soul. The show was a huge success with country music fans at The Venetian, drawing in an audience from around the country. McGraw and Hill have not performed together on tour since 2007, making this special event even more spectacular for fans who have long been desperate for more.

The couple sang their famous duets like “It’s Your Love,” as well as their own singles (“Breathe” for Faith Hill, and “Live Like You Were Dying” for Tim McGraw). McGraw also covered a wide ground of musical past, singing the Eagles’ “I Can’t Tell You Why,” and “Life in the Fast Lane.”

Though Soul2Soul is new to The Venetian this year, the tour itself isn’t new at all. Faith Hill and Tim McGraw first started performing the show in 2000, and have taken it through several renditions and manifestations. It’s gone through two major overhauls; the 2006 adaptation of Soul2Soul led to it becoming the most successful tour in country music that year.

Soul2Soul at the Venetian will be playing through April. However, if you’re interested in going, be ready to pony up a stack of cash. Tickets start at $95.50. Remember, this is two of contemporary country music’s biggest legends at The Venetian. You’ll have to pay for a price ticket to match!

Fans (and non-fans) are raving about the performance these two put on down in Sin City. Country music fans definitely won’t want to miss out. Even if you aren’t familiar with McGraw or Hill’s music, you’re still sure to be entertained!
