Barry Manilow Coming to Paris Las Vegas
Barry Manilow fans were disheartened when his five-year gig at the Las Vegas Hilton expired earlier this year. Would he stay in Las Vegas? If so, which hotel would scoop him up? The waiting and wondering are over, as Manilow announces his plans to appear at the Paris for an extended engagement. He'll be working with showbiz veterans including former Madonna and Paul McCartney choreographer and director Jeff Hornaday, who also staged High School Musical.
The Paris and Manilow are the perfect match, and the elegance, romance, and whimsy of the hotel will be a great accompaniment to the elegance, whimsy, and romance of Manilow's music. And Manilow is thrilled. He told Vegas Deluxe, “I am so excited to take my brand new show to Paris Las Vegas. This is the first time I have ever been on the Strip, and we’re putting together a brand new beautiful show. I thought the Paris Las Vegas, what’s more romantic than that, so we are putting together the most beautiful show I can imagine. I will be singing as many of the hits, of course, as I can and loads of new songs. I hope everyone can make it there, because I think it’s going to be really great.” He also happy to be on the strip, where, as we know, all the magic happens.
The theater at the Paris is being prepared and revamped for the show, which is slated to begin in March 2010. Come back soon for more information on this exciting new Las Vegas show development.
