It’s Superbowl Sunday, year forty-four for those of you keeping count, and the Las Vegas oddsmakers have come up with some bets that can keep the fun going throughout the game. The Las Vegas Hilton sportsbook has come up with some of the following bets:

• Will either team score three consecutive times?
• Will either team score the first 5 ½ minutes of the game?
• Will either team score in the last 3 ½ minutes of the game?
• Will both teams make 33-yard-or-longer field goals?
• Which team will have the most penalty yards?
• Which team will use coaches’ challenge first?
• Will Drew Brees throw an interception?

Some of the online bookmakers have created some really crazy bets, including the following:

• How many times will the CBS cameras capture Saints player Reggie Bush’s girlfriend Kim Kardashian during the game?
• What color will top will Kardashian wear to the game?
• How long will it take for Carrie Underwood to sing the Star Spangled Banner?
• How many times will CBS announcers mention Hurricane Katrina during the show?

Las Vegas can’t make these sort of “silly” bets, but it’s still an incredibly busy day for the bookmakers in Sin City.
