Celine Dion Pregnancy Rumors
Rumors abound on the Internet regarding the state of Celine Dion’s pregnancy. She is set to deliver twins in late November, but there have been reports that she was rushed into emergency surgery to stop the babies from being born three months early. The reports say that she received a cerclage, which is a surgery to prevent the cervix from opening before it’s time for the babies to be born.
Not so, says Celine’s camp. “She is 100 percent healthy and at home,” Kim Jackwerth, Celine Dion’s publicist, wrote in an email. “I have been speaking to both Rene and Celine weekly and everything is going great. It is very disturbing to have to respond to such malicious reports.”
Celine has a 9-year old son and suffered several miscarriages before the current successful pregnancy. She is 42-years old and has discussed her heartbreaking battle with infertility and her attempts to get pregnant through high-tech medical procedures. She is due to start her new blockbuster Las Vegas show in February 2011.
We hope the reports are false and that Celine and babies are doing well. There’s not that much longer to go, Celine! Hang in there!
