With a star-studded cast like David Spade, Adam Sandler, Salma Hayak, Rob Schneider, Chris Rock, Kevin James, Maya Rudolph, and many more, the film “Grown Ups” is gearing up to be one of the hit films of summer 2010.

“Grown Ups” is a reunion film scheduled for release on June 25, 2010, and represents a reunion of sorts for many members of the cast. Spade, Sandler, Schneider, Rock, and Rudolph are all “Saturday Night Live” alum. The premise is that a group of guys gets together some 25 years after high school to honor a football coach who has died. Unlike last time they were together, this time they’ve got wives and kids. During the Fourth of July weekend when they meet, they have some crazy times and also some bittersweet times as well.

The movie is co-written by Sandler and produced by his production company Happy Madison Productions. Sandler has a way of weaving the poignant into the slapstick funny so this movie should have plenty of belly laughs and a few parts that make you think as well.
