We thought Sunday’s blog post on the latest Paris Hilton/drug bust in Las Vegas would be the last for awhile, but the story just keeps going. The latest is that Hilton’s boyfriend, Las Vegas nightclub hotshot Cy Waits, who she was with at the time of her arrest, has been let go from his job as head of nightclub operations at Wynn and Encore.

At the time Hilton was arrested this past Friday night on drug possession, Waits was arrested for DUI since he was behind the wheel of his parked Cadillac Escalade when cops nabbed the two. Paris was arrested for cocaine possession after a packet of cocaine fell out of her purse in front of the cop. Except Paris is claiming the purse wasn’t hers.

This guy was a Las Vegas bigwig and had just recently been reported to his lofty new job. Does anyone associated with Paris Hilton ever escape unscathed? Can their love affair survive such a blow? Would Hilton ever date someone without a job unless they were the son of a Greek tycoon?
OK, we promise, this is the last time we’ll report on the incident—at least this week.
