Las Vegas has been blessed with several top-notch shows in the past several years, including an amazing array of Tony-Award-winning Broadway hits.

One of the finest Broadway shows of all time has made its home on the Las Vegas strip—The Lion King. Visitors and residents alike are fortunate to have the opportunity to see this gorgeous show unlike any other. The Lion King made its mark on Broadway, and it’s made its mark on Las Vegas as well—so much so that Madame Tussauds has unveiled a permanent fixture to the wax museum.

A statue of the Lion King character Rafiki was unveiled this past week at the interactive Las Vegas attraction, and several members of the cast, including the actor who plays Rafiki, were onhand for the unveiling. If you’ve seen the show you know how central this character is to the plot. The costuming worn by Rafiki and all the characters in the show is spectacular and now you can see up close just how amazing the costuming is at Madame Tussauds.
