Monte Carlo

Smack dab in the middle of the Las Vegas strip, the Monte Carlo stays true to its namesake with a European flavor that is unmistakably Las Vegas. Opened in 1996, the Monte Carlo resort features domed ceilings, crystal chandeliers, marble floors and accents, dramatic archways, and neoclassical columns combine to give this resort a truly cosmopolitan feel.

There are 3,002 rooms and 256 suites at the Monte Carlo. Room selections include deluxe rooms, Monaco suites, spa suites, and diamond suites. Deluxe rooms are 400 square feet and offer either a king or two queen beds. At the other end of the spectrum, the diamond suites are 825 square feet with a separate bedroom, bathroom, powder room, and wet bar. All rooms are furnished with Italian marble entry and bathroom and rich wood furnishings.

The eight restaurants in the Monte Carlo range from the hip BRAND steakhouse to Dragon Noodle, and Asian cuisine and tea emporium. The Monte Carlo also offers a sumptuous buffet and a food court with several popular choices.

The Monte Carlo Beach Club offers more than just a place splash around. There's an inviting heated pool, a lazy river that meanders through the palm trees and water features, and a wave pool. Rafts and inner tubes are available for rent and come in very handy for floating down the lazy river. For the ultimate in relaxation, guests can rent a poolside cabana that offers teak lounge chairs, flat screen TVs, food and beverage service, and an attendant.

The spa at Monte Carlo offers spa treatments that renew and rejuvenate the mind, body, and soul. The recently-renovated spa offers massages, beauty treatments, and detoxifying body wraps. The fitness center fee includes use of all exercise equipment, along with use of the saunas, whirlpool, and steam room.

There's no shortage of high-energy entertainment at the Monte Carlo. The resort is home to the world-renowned master magician Lance Burton, who appears in the aptly-name Lance Burton theater five nights a week. For guests whose favorite form of entertainment involves shopping, they won't be disappointed in the ten shops and stores at the Monte Carlo. The Lance Burton Magic Shop offers fans an opportunity to pick up one-of-a-kind memorabilia, and Fashion 101 offers women's fashions and accessories.

The gaming area of the Monte Carlo offers all the games visitors to Las Vegas enjoy and expect including Baccarat, blackjack, poker, craps, roulette, a race and sports book, and slots. A staff of casino hosts is onsite to offer personalized service to guests.

While the Monte Carlo boasts eye-popping décor and plenty of action to keep even the most jaded traveler occupied, there's a welcoming vibe at this resort that's unmistakable.
