Paris Hilton and her boyfriend , Las Vegas nightclub kingpin Cy Waits have had a BUSY week. First, they were victims of a crime earlier in the week when a knife-wielding man attempted to gain entry to Hilton’s Los Angeles home and Waits held the prowler at gunpoint until police could arrive.

What a difference a few days makes. Friday night, they had more excitement, but this time they were the accused lawbreakers rather than victims. The two were sitting in a Cadillac Escalade in front of the Wynn, when cops noticed the smoke-filled vehicle. Suspecting marijuana shenanigans, the Las Vegas cops approached the vehicle and indeed the unmistakable smell of pot lingered in the air.

Not only that, but a small amount of cocaine was found in a purse in the car. The purse was believed to be Hilton’s, because she was the only woman in the car, but she insists the purse was not hers and she has hired one of the best defense attorneys in Las Vegas to help in the matter. She was booked into the Las Vegas jail on a charge of drug possession, while her boyfriend was booked for DUI.
