Great Ways for Kids to have Fun in Las Vegas
November 19, 2012
If you’re planning on taking a family vacation to Las Vegas, don’t worry. There are plenty of things for your kids to do and that you can enjoy with them. Or at the least you can find a baby sitter to watch them or take them. There are a lot of professional nanny/babysitter services in Las Vegas for this very reason.
But if you want to have a good time with the entire family and give your kids a fun time they will remember, there are a few places you should take them. First of all, if they are into roller coasters and thrill rides, there are quite a few great ones in Las Vegas. Some aren’t even that expensive, like the Big Shot. Some others you can check out are called Insanity, SkyJump, and X Scream.
Fremont Street is another great place to take kids. Plus, there are a lot of free attractions in that area that are entertaining as well. You won’t find a giant LED screen anywhere else in the world. There’s also a cool zipline you can zoom down for not a lot of money.
Kids looking for more thrills, head to the Adventuredome theme park in Las Vegas. There are a variety of rides there, from extreme to family friendly. Your kids are bound to find something they like and so will you.
There are also a lot of unique museums and attractions on the strip and at numerous casinos/hotels. There’s a kids park in Town Square, pictures with street performers are always a hit with kids, a Lied Discovery Children’s Museum, and much more.
If you’re taking your whole family to Las Vegas, don’t worry. Even though Las Vegas is often marketed as a get-away for adults, kids can have a great time too. Just be smart about where you take them and let the Las Vegas atmosphere do the rest of the work!
