The Paris Las Vegas becomes the hottest spot north of Havana as legendary performer and songwriter Barry Manilow begins his two-year run as the resort’s resident performer. Manilow got his start performing with Bette Midler and writing commercial jingles, but soon rose to superstardom for his upbeat pop songs and his heart-felt ballads. Along with the aforementioned “Copacabana,” Manilow is known for a multitude of hit songs including “Mandy,” “Weekend in New England,” “Can’t Smile Without You,” I Write the Songs,” “Looks Like We Made It,” and many, many more!

Manilow will perform at the 1,500-seat Paris Showroom for three weekly shows on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. While Manilow previously performed at the Las Vegas Hilton for five years, he says the show at the Paris is very different. Along with his smash hit party song “Copacabana,” Manilow promises to sing some his old hits along with some of his newer songs. His new show is inspired by the romance of Paris and the theme of romance and love in general. Manilow’s latest album is titled “Greatest Love Songs of All Time,” and you can bet these songs will be included in the show as well.

The stunning Paris Showroom has been completely redesigned for the Manilow show, and the romance theme figures prominently in the design as well. From the time you enter the Paris Las Vegas with the incredible Eiffel Tower recreation as its centerpiece, you will feel the romance in the air.

Manilow is the consummate performer and showbiz professional, but he’s also got a great wit and a special way of interacting with his audience and his fans—affectionately known as the “Fanilows.” “The audience in Vegas is always energized and electric, so I know that the Paris Las Vegas is going to be a special run,” explains Manilow. “I’m planning something new for this performance; definitely not to be missed.”
