Celine Dion

When Celine Dion performed at Caesars Colosseum in her “A New Day—Live in Las Vegas” show from 2003 to 2007, she owned the strip and changed the way entertainers approached their shows in Las Vegas. Celine's first Las Vegas show was truly an extravaganza, selling out on a regular basis and grossing $400 million. When Celine wrapped up her show in 2007, although other mega-stars took over the Colosseum and the Las Vegas strip, she left a void. It seemed unlikely that she would return to the strip, as she had decided to focus on being a mother and wife and trying to become pregnant again.

A new day arrived in Las Vegas once again, however, as Celine Dion returned to the Las Vegas strip for yet another blockbuster show in 2011. Celine’s wish to have more children came true when she gave birth to sons Eddy and Nelson in late 2011, and during pregnancy she realized she still had the drive to perform in another blockbuster show for her adoring fans and discerning Las Vegas show-goers. One thing that’s evident about Celine is that she’s a dynamo; a force of nature to be reckoned with. She proves that it is possible to be a doting and devoted mother and wife along with an entertainment powerhouse.

Celine Dion returned to the Colosseum stage, a venue specifically built for her first show, for a three-year run that started in March 2011. Celine promised that her new show would incorporate all of her famous hits and a selection of music from old Hollywood films, and she made good on that promise in this electrifying show. Some of her biggest hits include “My Heart Will Go On” from the film “Titanic,” “Because You Loved Me,” and “Beauty and the Beast,” and ticket holders to this show can look forward to hearing Celine belt out all those songs and more in her powerful and moving singing style.

The reviews are in and have been resoundingly and overwhelmingly positive, including:

• A magnificent masterpiece! Celine has singlehandedly redefined class and elegance in onstage performances. Her voice is sent from the angels."--Las Vegas Sun
• "It's the show of shows, and may not be matched in Las Vegas for a long time!"--Las Vegas Review-Journal
• "Celine Dion's Vegas show more spectacular than ever! If her last show sold out for five years, this one should make it for ten."--Toronto Star
• "Celine is Las Vegas' biggest act since Elvis."--Newsweek

Celine is a true pioneer in entertainment and live performance and the winner of five Grammy Awards, 12 World Music Awards, seven American Music Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards, and 21 Juno Awards. Her new Las Vegas show, directed by renowned Grammy Awards producer Ken Ehrlick, was designed exclusively for the Colosseum, a 4,300-seat state-of-the-art venue, and the Las Vegas audience. It includes a full orchestra and a band, for a total of 31 musicians! The show features old-world movie-star glamor, breathtaking set design, amazing costuming and visual features, and of course the magnificent voice and presence of Celine Dion, one of the most successful recording artists of our time.

As she wrapped her first run of shows in spring/summer of 2011, it became quickly evident that this show would surpass her first show in success with 54 consecutive sold-out performances, entertaining 230,000 fans. Billboard magazine called the show the number one show in North America.

As president and co-CEO of show producer AEG Live/Concerts West explained, “we did not know how Celine could top her first five-year run in The Colosseum but she has certainly done it.” He describes Celine as “a force of nature [who] has brought to us an extraordinary show,” saying that the show is “selling stronger than the first run.”

Don’t miss out on your second, and quite possibly your last, chance to see Celine Dion perform live in Las Vegas in this heart-stopping, beautiful Las Vegas show.
