"Can we talk?" When those words come out of Joan Rivers' mouth, you know you're in for the laugh of your life. The brash, self deprecating comedian is equally outrageous whether she is making fun of herself or famous (or infamous) celebrities. Her raspy voice and New York accent are readily recognized the world over.

Rivers has indeed made a career out of pushing the envelope when discussing the lives and foibles of the rich and famous. She's not afraid to laugh at herself and won't think twice about eliciting a laugh from her audience at her own expense. Hardly anything is off limits in Ms. River's act--she'll discuss her numerous plastic surgeries, her sex life, her body, and her age. She has appeared in numerous TV shows and films. On the TV show "Nip/Tuck," a show about two plastic surgeons and the crazy parade of patients that show up in their operating room, she appeared as herself.

This comedy icon has also appeared on the "Ed Sullivan Show" and the "Tonight Show." She filled in frequently for host Johnny Carson, eventually being named first and only permanent guest host on the show. Showbiz legend has it that it was really hard to make Johnny Carson laugh and any comedian that could do it considered it a highlight of his or her career. Ms. Rivers was able to make Carson laugh on a regular basis.

Recently, Ms. River's bossy and unflinching style won over Donald Trump on the television show "Celebrity Apprentice." In the season finale of the second season of the show, Ms. Rivers won the competition and was named 2009 Celebrity Apprentice. She was also a card-carrying member of the Fashion Police on E! Entertainment television and is a permanent fixture on the red carpet.

Ms. Rivers brings her over-the-top humor to the Las Vegas strip for several special appearances at the fabulous Venetian Resort. Her Las Vegas show is just as biting and hilarious as it ever was--if not more so. She is a truly Las Vegas entertainment institution.
