Playboy

The famous Playboy Club was notorious in the 1960s and 1970s as the premier gentlemen’s club. Located on the 52nd floor of the Palms Resort Casino’s new Fantasy Tower, Playboy Club is enjoying a renaissance in exciting Las Vegas, with the input and blessing of Hugh Hefner himself. When Playboy Enterprises decided to resurrect the Playboy Club, there was only one logical place for the new site—Las Vegas. The club offers a fresh combination of nightlife and gaming. Unlike the original Playboy Clubs that required membership and a special key to get in, the new Playboy Club does not require membership. Even though the club is open to the public, the best way to experience the exclusive nature of the space is with table service. The luckiest of guests will be able to experience the ultimate in exclusivity with VIP tickets and service.Guests to the Playboy Club will enjoy an entertainment experience like no other. To start with, there are the bunnies greeting guests at the door, decked out in satin bunny suits, bunny ears, cuffs, and big bunny tails. “The bunny is back,” said Hef. This time, they aren’t just in generic bunny costumes—the new bunny costumes are designed by renowned fashion designer Roberto Cavalli. While the costumes are a modern interpretation of the original bunny suit, Cavalli was directed to maintain the spirit of the original costume. The bunny suits are just the beginning of this one-of-a-kind venue. The décor is a cross between a gentlemen’s club and what you’ve imagined the Playboy mansion must be like inside. Masculine, understated, and not your typical bachelor pad best describes the Playboy Club at the Palms. The bar, aptly named the “Diamond Bar,” is built out of 10,000 diamond-shaped crystals. Playboy iconography, including the trademark Playboy Bunny logo, is displayed throughout the club. The logo crops up in the carpeting, the buttons on the couches, and in a large neon sign on the side of the Palms building. There are 60 plasma screens showing images from the Playboy magazine archives and Playboy Playmate of the Month wallpaper in the restrooms. Leather couches and high-backed zebra-print chairs offer guests plenty of places to lounge and enjoy the action, and black marble accents add a sleek and modern vibe to the space. Two gaming pits lie in the center of the main area offering slot machines, blackjack, and roulette. Two Baccarat crystal chandeliers designed by Philippe Starck hang over each gaming pit area. Since this is the Playboy Club, the card dealers are all sexy Playboy bunnies decked out in full bunny garb. With just the right mix of masculinity and exotic sensuality, the Playboy Club is an obvious and great choice for the modern bachelor party. The club offers more than just a great place to celebrate the last moments of bachelorhood, however. The Playboy Club offers a nightclub environment with a lounge atmosphere.
