Conveniently located on the Las Vegas strip with another location soon to follow, Pole Position Raceway provides state-of-the-art Formula EK20 go-karts for adults that go about 45 miles per hour and EK10 go-karts for young racers that go about 20 miles per hour.
The karts at Pole Position Raceway are electric karts that accelerate faster and smoother than gas-powered go-karts. Electric carts are also cleaner, quieter, and fume-free. Approved safety helmets are provided. Closed-toed, sensible shoes are required to race, but if you arrive in flip flops or stilettos, don't worry--Pole Position Raceway also offers shoe rentals.
The clean and modern 60,000-square-foot Pole Position Raceway facility features a quarter mile European-style racetrack. As you maneuver your kart around the turns and through the straight-aways, you'll feel the surge of adrenaline that can only come with zipping around a racetrack.
Before you start racing, you'll receive a race name. A big screen above the track shows all the racers names and keeps track of how they're doing during their time on the track. After the race session, participants receive a personalized scorecard that shows lap time, race position, and how they stack up against the other racers.
Racing at Pole Position Raceway offers the thrill of racing to visitors who are at least 48-inches tall. Kids love it, of course, but adults are often surprised at how much fun they have in these modern go-karts. For those that prefer to stay in one place, there's also an arcade with pool tables, plasma TVs, and a great view of the race track.
